DrumWave is revolutionizing the way data is shared, accessed, and owned. In an era where personal data is as valuable as currency, the quest for control over one’s digital footprint is more pressing than ever. Amid this landscape, DrumWave is pioneering the infrastructure poised to transform how we manage, share, and monetize our digital identities. This groundbreaking product offers a glimpse into a future where data ownership is not just an ideal but a tangible reality, creating a seismic shift in the digital economy.
Our team aims to transform the world from data-poor to data-rich, thereby changing the course of economic relations and wealth distribution.
We’re looking for an ambitious Technical Product Manager to lead the team creating infrastructure, tools and data structures that enable data scientists to analyze, target and segment different types of data across industries and domains.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ideal Experience:
Total Comp:
Join a company committed to transforming the data ownership landscape. DrumWave was founded in 2015 and operated as a consulting company working on complex, massive-scale data problems. This experience allowed it to validate its thesis and build a powerful IP moat. As the market evolved, and following the last funding round, DrumWave was re-founded in 2023. A new executive team was hired to add forces with the original founders, with the goal of delivering on its vision. The company has more than 35 approved and granted patents in the US and abroad, with various other patents pending.
DrumWave’s team believes we are experiencing one of the biggest transformations in human history—cultural, economic, political, and technological changes. Consumer awareness, regulation, and technology convergence are helping us to imagine a future with a fair and inclusive economic system based on data in place. To get there, the company is working to build and propose a new social license to operate (SLO)—a set of standard business practices and operating procedures by governments, organizations, and citizens that are enabling this transformation. Â
From the 1980s through 2020, we witnessed the shift from hardware to software. Today, we are in the midst of the next big transformation: The shift from software to data. Just as personal computers, the internet, and smartphones put the power of technology in the hands of individuals, we can now put data in the hands of the people who create it, giving them the ability to own and derive value from all the data they create every day. Â
In addition, the collision of big tech, big finance, and big government is creating a new data economy with the potential to build a more prosperous and equitable society—where people and businesses own their data and are given the ability to profit from its use. No longer paper, plastic, or crypto—data is the new proxy for value—and DrumWave is making it easy for everyone to participate in a trusted ecosystem. We support current world standards that allow data to be valued and facilitate transportability, divisibility, and resistance to counterfeiting.
We’re a VC-backed team with a successful $50M Series A funding round in summer 2024, led by experienced founders who have guided prior successful exits. Our Technical and Product leadership teams, with backgrounds from Carta, eBay, and Paypal, and our top-tier advisory committee represent some of the best in the industry. Our small and agile team allows for quick decision-making and meaningful contributions, supported by a flat organizational structure that encourages direct communication and innovation. If you’re eager to make a real impact in a supportive and driven environment, we’d love to have you join us.
