Context

Brands have a common challenge, and that is brand awareness and publicity. Most employees of companies either have very little or no idea of how the company’s brand and image is portrayed online. They hardly ever post or repost whatever goods or services that their company offers.

These brands end up paying a lot of money to social media influencers and celebrities to help publicize their brands. At the long run, this doesn’t look sustainable, especially for smaller brands, as they have to keep paying large amounts of money to celebrities for brand awareness

Objective
Brand District is an app designed to help brands build and nurture valuable relationships with their audience. Brands can showcase their products and offerings to a wider audience, while everyday social media users perform tasks as advocates of brands, and get rewarded for it

Solution Summary:

Brand District seeks to make the average social media user an advocate and influencer of any brand, while at the same time, getting rewarded for it. Users can sign up on the platform and apply to be brand advocates for different brands. Whenever they perform tasks like reposting, liking, they get points which they can in turn use to purchase valuable items of their choice. On the flip side, brands are able to gain more visibility and awareness without having to spend so much on advertisements, and at the same time connect with their customers.
