As a PM for Alexa, How can I increase the engagement for kitchen use.
It’s an interesting usecase of Alexa. I would like to ask few questions to understand more about the problem statement.
Clarifying questions:
1. What is the main reason for why we want to cater the alexa services for this usecase?
2. How are we calculating the engagement?
3. Are we looking for any business side solutions?
Since I got more clarity on the objective and constraints, I would like to structure my answer in the following way.
First, I will talk about the users and their needs, then we will figure out how alexa can help out in serving those needs.
Since Alexa is more sort of a home product, it is better to understand the needs in Kitchen for all people living in the house.
The three major segments of users are:
1. Cook
2. Non Cook
The underserved needs:
Cooks who are new to cooking woud want to know how to make cuisines and dishes in different styles. This includes the ingredients required and how to cook as well.
People want to stay upto date if any groceries are about to get finished
Solutions:
Grocery Management Integrated with the Amazon Grocery platform.
User can keep the track of the groceries and order whenever anything is about to be completed.
Guiding in making New Dishes and cuisines.
An Interactive Audio description which can guide the new cooks and whoever wants to try out new cuisines.
These are the basic usecases that Alexa can cater to kitchen that i can think of.
