I am responsible to drive digital transformation initiatives across a portfolio of high tech clients. My responsibilities require me to intimately understand the business strategy and needs, existing infrastructure of processes and systems, priorities and budgets. 

• At a leading $2B system design software vendor, I analyzed their enterprise order management processes in detail and leveraged various digital tools like RPA, dynamic workflow engine, machine learning etc. to identify and implement automation projects driving 3X ROI by Y-2.

• At a market leading storage equipment manufacturer, I leveraged design thinking to redefine the business view of issues in the renewals operations group. This led to the identification of 19 key “ideas” which the management accepted to pursue. Among these were also a portfolio of prioritized digital projects powered by machine learning to disproportionately increase revenue through optimized cross-sell/upsell as well as to reduce annual leakage/write-offs of “unquoted” products.

• I have led digital transformation solutioning efforts leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and other Genpact proprietary tools in the RFP responses for multiple clients:
? For a leading $30B hardware equipment and services company, proposed strategy to enhance sales/partner experience while increasing revenue by $200M and reducing operational costs by $70M, leveraging master data management, advanced analytics, machine learning solutions
– For the world’s largest software company, proposed inside sales outsourcing solutions to drive 6% increase in revenue, powered by machine learning, customer journey maps, and master data quality management

I delivered growth in key high tech accounts which ran complex programs in fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional environments. Few highlights are:

– Drove the go-to-market program of a new IaaS offering for a large virtualization software vendor. This required outlining a robust transformation roadmap specifying foundational capabilities for the subscription delivery platform, key milestones, activities, WBS, and KPIs across product management, process and policy documentation, change management, training, development and testing. The IaaS offering for the federal customer segment was set for a run-rate of $200M/yr.

– Led the design and development program of a prototype internal enterprise platform for a leading network equipment manufacturer whose charter was to simplify and shorten the market release of “flexible consumption offers” by rationalizing the dependency on IT release cycles. The prototype realized ~30% reduction in go-to-market release cycles and set the foundation to accommodate enhancements required to support other upcoming offerings.

– Built a design and implementation team to deliver an innovative quoting tool for the finance unit of a large database software vendor. The imminent business need was to limit high error rates and long revenue cycles due to multiple reviews and rework, while not waiting for the delayed enterprise release of the IT quoting solution. Conceptualized a quoting solution leveraging the “solver” module of MS Excel which was delivered within an aggressive deadline of 90 days with its usage well beyond the targeted timeline.

Supported business to set up a custom $500M quote-to-order enterprise platform by Y-2.

– Established a robust PMO to drive workshops scheduling, requirements gathering, solution and architecture design, development, testing and change management

– Drove high resolution-rates for issues & risks through proactive impact analysis, communications with cross-functional business leads and steering committee

Product Manager Intern

Reduced support costs on the [email protected] platform by ~5% through targeted email outreach and self-help video postings on the website.

– Identified key call patterns and developed cost reduction strategies through intensive data analysis and UX design

Software Engineer

Reduced support costs for a specific software module by $395K/Yr. (45%), providing automation foundation for automating other modules as well.

– Designed “one-click” automation strategy with scripts for manual quality assurance processes model for software testing, significantly eliminating manual touches and duplicate test coverage.
