Experience

Data Center Strategy & Finance, Manager

• Owner of the end-to-end strategic financial planning for the $XXB Global Data Center Capital Portfolio and Org-CFO to a wide scope of XFN partners in Sourcing, Engineering, Design, Capacity Planning, Legal, and Project Controls.
• Drove the creation, testing, and launch of an internally developed software product which outputs a 10-year capacity plan and cost profile from thousands of partner inputs for Data Centers each quarter for CEO Mark Zuckerburg and his C-suite.
• Designed and launched the original Data Center protype for this software in Q4’22 which served as a bridge before launching the MVP 6 months later. This prototype resulted in $XXB in planned savings in 2023 by shifting our strategy to leaner and higher density rack designs supporting AI as well as deprioritizing lower ROI/non-critical projects across the organization. o Drove the logistical and operational implementation across our XFN teams in legal, operations, design, and capacity planning to realize these saving while also maintaining contractor relationships and financial statement integrity.
• Spearheaded the 0 to 1 creation of the Infrastructure Land optionality playbook for our $XB Data Center Site Development portfolio by hosting in-depth working sessions with Capacity and Site Planning to connect our land procurement strategy to our evolving Infrastructure needs. o This playbook allows for evaluating the optimal cost, quality, and location of land for future sites while providing optionality given volatile fluctuations in demand requirements, regulatory changes, and energization contracts.

Strategy & Finance, Associate

• Actively drove a 34% reduction in our $M/MW costs through driving C-suite visibility into our Data Center ROI by creating and surfacing to executive leadership the first “Lease vs. Build model” comparing the cost of owning versus leasing.
• Served as analytical lead for the 6-week competitive benchmarking engagement with BCG which drove VP-level visibility into our cost and capacity profile compared to our direct competition.

Operations Analyst

• Led the ideation, creation, and launch of the Infrastructure Accrual Automation feature which reduced time to book ~$2B+ in quarterly accruals by 388 hours a year across 3 XFN teams and reduced accrual inaccuracy to <0.5% (the lowest in history).

• Created system flow mapping and prototypes with Enterprise Engineering and prior to launch engaged with legal, accounting, and construction business partners to meet the rigorous testing requirements enforced by SOX.

• Educated and coached teams across Meta to apply the same framework and has been recognized as one of the CFO Org’s top efficiency achievements in 2022.

Corporate Finance, Sr. Treasury Analyst

• “Quarter-Back” of Quarterly Review with CFO and C-suite executives to discuss and evaluate liquidity, capital structure, financing, and FX activity before earnings to concisely explain the financial health of the company ecosystem.
• SME lead for the initial scoping development of the Machine Learning Cash Forecasting Model to forecast ~$500M in daily collections through XFN partnership with external engineers and internal consultants leveraging the Agile Framework.
