Test Automation Architect / Engineer

Assigned with the role of aligning automation processes, tools, and strategies with business goals while working with department heads, stakeholders, and IT teams to enforce best practices, standardize compliance, and optimize automation. Analyzing the needs and priorities of technological projects and making architectural decisions on different software design scenarios in order to see holes in an automation process before it starts.

Test Automation Engineer

In charge of designing, building, testing, and deploying effective test automation solutions. To fulfill this role I applied appropriate automation technologies to meet the short and long term goals of the testing organization. The objective was to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code / scripts. I was also involved in software testing tasks, such as extensive low-level interface regression testing, that can be laborious and time-consuming to do manually. My skills offered a possibility to perform these types of testing effectively. Once automated tests were developed, they could be run quickly and repeatedly. This produced a cost-effective method for regression testing of software products that have a long maintenance life.
