Hi! I grew up in India and now find myself on the other side, as a graduate student at Columbia University. My interests lie at the nexus of technology and strategy, to provide/design creative data-driven solutions to make a company sustainable. My goal is to be part of the bigger picture, to layer my problem-solving approach with transferable business skills, to help create transformative businesses.
With 2.5 years of experience at Western Digital as a DevOps specialist and an APAC liaison my work largely involved a combination of philosophies, practices, and tools to increase the organization’s ability to deliver applications at high velocity: developing strategies to ensure production systems that are automated, flexible and adaptable.
My experience has helped me develop the mindset that ‘People’ are the most important component of any initiative, and a successful initiative brings greater collaboration between multiple teams.
I’m a passionate problem solver and have a good command of data analysis tools including SQL, Python, R, Tableau. Outside of work, I love learning or exploring new skills and places. You’ll find me practising yoga, hiking or trying to pick up a new language.
