Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Transportation Management System (TMS) Product Manager with a proven track record of 8+ years in the transportation and logistics industry . The successful candidate will lead the development, enhancement, and management of our Retail TMS product offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs, customer requirements, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision:

” Develop a comprehensive product strategy and vision for our Retail Transportation Management System, taking into account market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.

” Define clear product goals and objectives that align with the company’s overall mission

Product Roadmap Planning

” Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing to create a well-defined product roadmap.

” Prioritize features, enhancements, and integrations based on market demand and business impact.

Requirement Gathering And Definition

” Engage with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to gather detailed product requirements and use cases. Translate gathered information into clear and actionable product specifications.

Product Development Oversight

” Lead the product development process by working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.

” Provide guidance, feedback, and direction to development teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Performance Monitoring And Optimization

” Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the Retail TMS product.

” Regularly assess product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Stakeholder Communication

” Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.

“Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and updates.

Industry Expertise

” Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and innovations in the retail transportation and logistics sector. ” Leverage this knowledge to guide the evolution of the Retail TMS product.

Qualifications And Experience

” Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

” Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in product management within the transportation and logistics industry, with a strong focus on Retail TMS solutions

” In-depth knowledge of transportation management systems, logistics processes, and supply chain operations.

” Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products, preferably TMS solutions.

” Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

” Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

” Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

” Located in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
