What you’ll do:
We are looking for a Product Manager with experience guiding software products from discovery to launch and who is passionate about building products for the solar industry. You will be tasked with building out a vision for several existing product lines, evaluating current competition and market fit, collaborating with other product teams, and rolling out the new features with the help of a development team.
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience and requirementsIdentify and fill product gaps, gather and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growthCreate buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partnersDevelop product pricing and positioning strategiesTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypesScope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impactAuthor user stories and work closely with engineering teams to deliver incremental value via iterative processesDrive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team membersEvaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Requirements
Required:
Minimum 5 years software product development experienceMinimum 3 years product management experienceGood understanding of Agile processVery strong verbal and written communicationProven ability to work closely with software development, business, sales, and marketing teams
Desired:
Agile Product Owner certificationExperience in mapping, GIS, or renewable energy industries
