Intern Job Description
The P2 ecosystem consists of a suite of tools that house Comcast’s national construction platform. We build systems that track construction activities and associated costs across throughout the entirety of the Comcast footprint; if Comcast is bringing services to new users or upgrading the experience for existing customers, we’re tracking it within P2 to ensure a successful delivery!
We are looking for someone who has a passion for bringing user experiences to life to join our Product Team. As a product manager, you’ll get to know our user base, understand how to develop software development requirements and gain the skills to breakdown user requirements for software engineering teams. Additionally, you’ll learn about product management best practices and help drive recommendations for how our team can leverage industry standards to streamline our product delivery approach.
Who will the intern work with?
Product Management is a cross functional role. You will get the chance to work with a full scrum (including development and quality engineers), other product managers and our business stakeholders.
What are some interesting problems the intern will work on?
In this role you will help bridge the gap between business and technology. You will work with our user community to help define problems and craft solutions, and then bring those solutions to life with a team of engineers!

Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborating with internal and external partners as part of a cross-functional team to gather end user requirements and help define and deliver end state solutionsSupporting requirements gathering by documenting discussions and decisions, and turning these into actionable user stories and acceptance criteriaWorking closely with engineers, UX designers, and QA to drive successful delivery of new featuresDeveloping creative problem-solving skills to make impactful decisions that help improve the lives of our end usersTranslating product needs to technology requirementsThinking strategically and creatively to research and help implement product management best practicesOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Prior internship experience in a product management, technical program management or product-oriented technology roleStrong communication and writing skills Strong problem-solving abilities; ability to through the noise and laser focus on what really mattersPreferred Majors: Business Administration, User Experience, Computer Science
Minimum Qualifications And Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or universityRising Junior or Rising Senior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024, Spring 2025, December 2026 or Spring 2026.Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internshipAuthorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needsAvailable to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer programAvailable to report in-person to the work location on the job posting.
