Job Summary

The Disney Consumer Identity Product team manages the UX and services that power the complete user lifecycle for signup, login, verification, and privacy functions across the Walt Disney Company.   Our Privacy squad is seeking a Senior Product Manager who can help drive the future of privacy and user rights for our global platform.

As a Product Manager on the team, you’ll be responsible for working collaboratively with other product managers, engineering, legal, and privacy experts to give users a more personalized experience and improved control of their data.  You will inform the discovery and prioritization of new features, help develop user-focused and legally compliant solutions, and partner with teams across the organization to support launch and roll-out activities.  This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with analytical drive, product intuition, and wanting to advocate for users across Disney.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an adept at synthesizing identity focused regulatory requirements, industry trends and user data to deeply understand the needs and motivations of current and potential TWDC guests. Responsibilities:

  • Help lead the product strategy for our Privacy and Compliance platform across all Walt Disney Company products and services.
  • Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the Legal and Compliant impact on  Identity across the TWDC platform.
  • Define product requirements, objectives, and success metrics for Identity products and features.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, UX Design, Research, Data and Customer Service teams to deliver features in a cross functional matrix environment.
  • Partner with Marketing, Legal and Compliance, Ad Platforms, Architecture and Engineering teams to guide the design for compliance within the Identity Workstream.
  • Drive the roadmap and prioritization of Identity focused features, balancing both customer and business impacts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in Product Management, or equivalent experience driving strategy for the Identity workstream in a larger matrixed organization.
  • Proven record of collaboration in multi-disciplinary environment to deliver high-quality features that improve the customers’ experience and achieve business goals.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity through all levels of the organization.
  • Ability as a Product leader to craft a compelling vision and gain support and alignment from cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to generate customer insights from data trends, and proven success with data-informed decision making.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a multi-product B2C company
  • Experience supporting Legal stakeholders

The hiring range for this position in New York is $142,516 – $191,180 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
