About The Team
Basis’s Product team guides the innovation and development of our innovative software platform, Basis. This team blends focus, collaboration, and creativity to fulfill our mission in creating a transformative tool that goes well beyond streamlining work to make those jobs more fulfilling for those who power the ad tech industry.
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
The customer experience is paramount to this team’s work—and incorporates market research, cross-departmental stakeholder collaboration, user testing, communicating feature requests to engineers and designers, monitoring impact of new feature rollouts, measuring returns on product investments, and more. Together, we leverage our diverse industry experience and talent to brainstorm new ideas, iterate on past ones, and deliver the best possible product for our users.

Cultivating a deep understanding of the customer and develop empathy for their challenges, opportunities and motivationsPassionately serving as an internal and external evangelist for the productBuilding strong business domain knowledge of traditional and digital advertising, campaign planning and executionLeading the continual discovery, definition and validation of our products and platformsAnalyzing the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product strategyManaging tradeoffs in time, capabilities and cost during development to achieve product goalsPrioritizing and breaking down complex problems into a backlog that drives design and developmentCommunicating product roadmaps and benefits to stakeholdersCollaborating with other Basis teams to coordinate release strategiesIdentifying and analyze metrics that track our success and inform product decisionsApplying knowledge and experience of agile practices and techniques to help lead cross-functional teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Five to ten years’ experience working closely with agile software development teams, with at least three years of professional B2B software product management experiencePassion for and a proven track record in delivering superior value to users and achieving positive customer outcomesPersonal responsibility for measuring yourself in terms of the success of your productDemonstrate superior communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written) Strong grasp of how to assess and evaluate product-market opportunitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsBachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience – preference given to individuals with enterprise platform/SaaS experience and/or digital advertising industry expertise

$110,000 – $190,000 a year
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. The total compensation package for this position may also include commission or bonus, company equity, and competitive benefits.
