Job Description

Are you passionate about identifying and delivering on Workday HCM Product enhancements? If so, we’d love to talk with you! The successful Senior Product Manager candidate will be comfortable leading an agile team and focusing on delivering strategic objectives, while staying aligned to an employee experience roadmap for Workday HCM Maintain (Core HR Functions). If you are energized by the opportunity to drive innovation, improve employee experiences, performing market research, gathering employee feedback, and designing digital experiences then this role is for you! The Product Manager will partner closely with key stakeholders who oversee different programs, as well as work with HR Executives and the Workday HCM Experience Owner to identify, develop and deliver on impactful system enhancements as well as ongoing maintenance.

The Product Manager will lead an Agile team responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities. In this role you will provide constant feedback to the business line and Agile teams in support of delivery and evolution of the product, developing a well-rounded understanding of the employee needs that are aligned with business objectives, as well as an ability to develop close relationships with senior HR leaders and key stakeholders. The Product Manager acts as a key resource on an agile scrum team, working with a Scrum Master to manage story delivery including requirements, sizing, testing and planning. Represents HR business line in enterprise initiatives, participates in technical design, process workflow and communication discussions.

Location: This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 8 or more years of relevant technical experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Workday HCM Certified preferred or desire to complete
  • 4 or more years developing within Workday HCM / or leading Workday HCM development teams
  • Considerable knowledge of Workday HCM and configuration
  • Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
  • Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
  • Considerable understanding and demonstrated abilities in support of the Lean/Agile mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams
  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated abilities in support of complex analysis of current future product development, evaluations of new applications or enhancements, to drive automation in complex product development
  • Advanced knowledge of technology desktop software and tools (e.g. Microsoft office suite, Windows infrastructure), industry trends and tools and key enterprise software
  • Thorough knowledge of HR functions and business rules including payroll, compensation, recruiting and staffing practices and benefits
  • Comprehensive expertise in HR strategic platforms (Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone, Jira etc.) and related HR ecosystem
  • Proven experience in configuration and design of complex workflows and business rules
  • Ability to negotiate priorities and manage difficult conversations in favor of advancement of digital and agile culture
  • Ability to write and analyze reports, review system audit reports and make recommendations on process or technical changes
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $112,880.00 – $132,800.00 – $146,080.00
