Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to expand the team. As a SASE product manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and operations, feature functionality and roadmap. In addition to your own creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and problems. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that matches Palo Alto Networks’ level of innovation. You will be involved in all stages of the feature lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities.
Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing, engineering and Customer Success to create product related technical, sales and marketing materials; evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally to drive growth and market share.
We expect office-based employees to be in the office four days per week, with one day working from where they choose. We believe being together facilitates casual conversations and those magic moments where we can work on issues and ideas informally. These moments build capability and deepen trusted relationships and allow our people to feel safe in taking risks and being disruptive. Like so many companies, we are working through the details and things could change …. but in general if a role is deemed office-based we want our teams to be together four days per week.

Qualifications
Your Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, Other engineering/technical degree, MBA preferred or equivalent military experience requiredMinimum 7 years in product management, engineering leadership, technical sales/marketing experience (software preferred)Technical expertise in the enterprise LAN and WAN networking space required, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Service Provider experience is a plusUX / UI and workflow development desiredExcellent people skills, team mentality, Relentless pursuit of excellenceAbility to understand what’s important, urgent and how to tackle multiple priorities at the same timeStrong problem solving ability, negotiation skills, and ability to seek compromiseAbility to work in sprints to accomplish time-sensitive goalsStrong desire to take ownership of the full product life cycleDrive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive – ability to take calculated risksHands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skills including executive

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $155,000/yr to $250,800/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
