Senior Product Manager (Payments)

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help craft and execute product initiatives for the platform’s payments infrastructure, reporting directly to the Director of Product. In this role, you’ll be tasked to address complex micro and macro factors that influence our member’s movement of funds, analyzing Product KPIs, hypothesizing areas of opportunities and unmet needs, and advocating for the best solutions to ensure the healthy growth of the product through meaningful value propositions for our members.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the execution of the platform’s money movement initiatives, ensuring seamless transactions across deposits, withdrawals, loan fundings, repayments, and debit card transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, CS, Finance, Data, Growth, Recovery, and Legal/Compliance, to deliver products that enhance user experience and financial compliance.
• Identify new product opportunities and operational efficiencies within SoLo’s payments ecosystem and the Fintech industry as a whole
• Define and analyze KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement in SoLo’s payments ecosystem
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, of money movement initiatives, including gathering requirements, organizing tasks, and overseeing development sprints
• Lead the collaboration with our money movement vendors to ensure maintain stability, discover new solutions, and implement enhancements to our integration
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SoLo’s payment ecosystem while continuously striving to improve our members’ money movement experience
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and user research to inform product direction and enhancements

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of product management experience in the B2C Fintech industry, with a focus on banking products, money movement, and fraud mitigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify key problems/opportunities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and driving product execution
• A deep understanding of the Fintech industry, regulatory environment and fraud related to payments and financial transactions
• Familiarity with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platforms and the technical aspects of payment processing and money movement
• A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for creating products that improve financial access and user experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong data analysis skills, with experience using analytics tools to drive product decisions
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, evolving startup environment
