We are a remote-first startup with hubs in Austin and NYC. Season is a series-A stage business backed by Andreessen-Horowitz, LRV Health, 8VC, Bain Capital, Healthy.VC and Grand Central Tech among others. Season recruits, employs, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, gender identity, disability, age, veteran status and other protected status as required by applicable law and as a matter of our company ethics.
About The Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Season, you are responsible for understanding the needs of our users (including patients, providers, and enterprise customers), defining our product vision and roadmap, executing that roadmap with design and engineering, and delivering a live product that is engaging to use, efficient to operate, produces positive health outcomes, and delivers ROI for enterprise customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for your own “builder team” and have autonomy to deliver on your goals. You’ll help build the product vision, run the sprint cadence, work closely with design and engineering to set priorities, write product briefs, groom the backlog, ship features, and measure their impact on our users and goals. You’ll work cross-functionally at Season to gather input on priorities and requirements and to successfully launch your work to patients and providers. You’ll conduct user research with both current and prospective users, learning their needs and seeking feedback to inform future iterations of the product. Your work will have a direct and continuous impact on the user experience and on Season’s business.
This role requires past experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager. The right candidate has demonstrated the ability to deliver results through an engineering roadmap that have a material, measurable impact on their business.
This role requires a strong background in analytics, with proficiency in SQL and experience in data-driven decision making. The right candidate will be able to ramp up quickly on our data warehouse environment, write moderate-to-advanced queries in SQL, be self-directed in understanding when data is needed to drive a decision, derive insights, and communicate them to others clearly and persuasively.
This role also requires experience in and passion for health technology. The right candidate has familiarity working with some or all of the following: electronic health records (EHRs), clinical tools and workflows, telemedicine, health information exchanges (HIEs), HIPAA compliance, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance.
Finally, because Season is still an early-stage startup, this role requires an early-stage startup mindset. The right candidate thrives on ambiguity, uncertainty, and rapid change. They have a preternatural sense of ownership. They roll up their sleeves, do whatever it takes to get a project over the line, and earn trust in the trenches. They wake up every day energized by the unique challenges of startup life, knowing they wouldn’t have their job be any other way.
