Meet The Product Team

Our product team is in its nascent stage of being established and rapidly growing. Each product team member works closely with Ownwell’s founders on a daily basis. In this role, you’ll report directly to the CEO, Colton Pace, until a full-time Head of Product is hired.Our team is a mix of entrepreneurs, product and design talent. Combined we bring wealth of experience from organizations that successfully built products that exceeded customer expectations.

The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our products and driving our vision forward. Reporting to the Head of Product, you’ll work closely with design, engineering and other teams to prioritize features, maintain a fast-paced iterative approach, and ensure exceptional product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, collaborating with design, engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Define, measure, and optimize product KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication of product decisions and learnings across the organization.
  • Utilize domain-driven design principles to create comprehensive system and workflow maps and establish a consistent vocabulary throughout the company.
  • Manage the product roadmap and prioritize features based on business goals, user feedback, and market opportunities.
  • Direct the feature prioritization process for product releases, emphasizing an agile approach with regular, incremental updates.
  • Inspire and lead your team and others to execute and deliver your vision and solutions to solve customers’ biggest problems

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on consumer-facing products in the real estate, fintech, or proptech industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and iterating on digital products and services, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong user empathy, with an ability to transform complex data and customer insights into product vision and a prioritized roadmap.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to deliver and oversee ?rst-party product solutions to enable targeting, measurement, optimization, etc
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product, with a basic understanding of APIs and platform projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency and an ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Mixpanel, HotJar, and other data analysis tools to inform product decisions and measure product performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience and a strong track record in product management will also be considered.
