What does the job entail? (Responsibilities)
At Monarch our Product Managers play a pivotal role in shaping the future of farming by turning ambiguity into clarity. As the Product Manager, Internal Tools & Partner Ecosystem you will be responsible for two major product areas: i) Monarch’s internal tools which enable our teams provide delightful support to our customers, manage OTA campaigns, analyze product usage, and the like, and ii) the suite of products that Monarch provides our growing ecosystem of dealers and OEM licensees. In this role you will work with customers and stakeholders across the company to understand customer needs and business goals, prioritize solving for them, and bring people together to deliver products that will generate significant value for our customers.

Job Responsibilities
• Be a Champion for the Customer — Develop deep empathy for farmers, identify customer problems, and the value of solving them.
• Be an Expert on your part of the Ecosystem – Understand in depth how your product area impacts farms, farm operations, and others in the ecosystem (e.g., partners, suppliers, dealers).
• Explain the Why — Clearly articulate why we are trying to solve a specific customer and/or business problem, and how it aligns to the overall company and product strategy.
• Lead the What – Bring teams together to create ideas for new products that solve identified problems, work for our business, and validate that the product is desirable and feasible. Document user personas, features, acceptance criteria, and user flows in support of product development efforts.
• Organize the When — Balance near and long-term customer needs, business goals, and resources to maintain a product roadmap.
• Manage Trade-offs & Compromises — Decide what to prioritize when limited resources and/or time require something be compromised (products, product features, testing).
• Sign off on Launch — Ensure the technology and design meet the requirements and acceptance criteria in the PRD you drafted via functionality and usability testing.
• Gather Feedback & Iterate — Define and measure product success metrics, learn via data analysis and soliciting direct feedback from users, then incorporate learnings into future product iterations.
• Communicate — Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the product strategy, the status of product development work, and the performance of existing products.

More practical skills needed (Technical Requirements, Experience, Education) :
• 3-5 years of Product Management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Track record of success in defining and taking new innovative 0-1 products to market.
• Experience creating product roadmaps and driving decision alignment across multiple teams.
• Understanding of software development for machine-learning products and services
Physical Requirements:
· Visiting customer farms and participating in farm operations
· Regularly climbing on and off of tractors
