As a Product Manager on the Privacy SWAT team, you will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. Our scope is Privacy-org wide and we’re responsible for supporting the highest priority areas. This comes with a lot of novelty; each deployment is different. It’s both fun and challenging to change your work context every several months, and comes with the benefit of enabling you to develop a wide-lens on the full scope of Privacy and build leadership across the org.
Product Manager, Privacy Responsibilities:
Lead strategic initiatives for company-wide problems, negotiate approach with executive leadership, develop execution plan with partner orgs, and ensure deadlines and commitments are metIs the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goalsIncorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmapsStand up new Privacy teams and areas, establish direction, and set them on an impactful course with clear plansAccelerate ability to meet privacy commitments by developing long term plans and priorities with Privacy Aware InfraUnderstand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industryMaximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years product management or related industry experience in the Privacy domain1+ years experience working in Privacy ProductRequires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following: product management or product designGathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solutionWorking in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestonesAnalyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch executionDisplaying effective leadership, organizational and execution skillsProven communication skillsDelivering technical presentations

Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleaguesExperience developing social products, technologies and platformsExperience building products that protect or isolate data, communicate about privacy or data access, or prevent privacy incidentsProven experience functioning in a regulated environment
