Your New Role

This Product Manager will support key Franchise Management applications. They will be responsible for working closely with the Consumer Products and Digital Strategy teams on their product strategies, technology delivery and change management activities.

Your Role Accountabilities

Product Strategy: (40%) Work with the business stakeholders and technology teams to define our Franchise Management products’ strategic visions and roadmaps for the Consumer Products & Franchise divisions. This role will lead a cross-matrixed team through elicitation, analysis, documentation, and organization of requirements into a clear, concise, and actionable product backlog that will deliver incremental business value throughout the product’s lifecycle. The Product Manager will provide product oversight to ensure consistent product experience of user controls, data definitions, business logic, and product aesthetics. Deliverables include Stakeholder Analysis, Product Vision Statements, Product Roadmaps, Product Requirements, Product Backlogs, post-delivery Release Notes.

Change Management, User Acceptance & Adoption: (30%) Maintains a deep understanding and empathy for end users and can creatively solve problems with a user-first mentality. Guides the end users through ensuring user requirements are articulated, system process changes are understood, and end users are trained to use the system as well as ensures that they complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This role will also document and communicate a stakeholder analysis and communication plan that enables user adoption.

Continuous Delivery: (30%) Evaluate and recommend product and process innovations and enhancements that drive business value and maximize the ROI for the product. Must partner with Business Partners, Product Manager peers, Solution Architects, Technical Project Managers, and Developers to identify, evaluate, and deliver strategic technical solutions. Identify and document clear business KPIs (key performance indicators), that measure the success of the product and the user adoptions.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • 6+ years implementing technology solutions
  • Previous UI/UX design experience
  • Experience in Media and Entertainment
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end product management deliverables including stakeholder analysis, product visions, product roadmaps, product requirements, prioritized product backlogs, release plans, release notes.
  • Experience guiding functional team members into delivering best-in-class deliverables including
    • Use Cases
    • Business Requirements Documentation
    • User Stories with clear and concise acceptance criteria
    • Functional Design Specifications
    • Test Cases & Scripts
    • Training Manuals for future state system processes
  • Experience with Agile framework and tools
  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Self-motivation; enthusiasm for challenging work
  • Experience building positive relationships with all team members
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; able to work with all levels of the organization and coach team members.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Proven understanding of Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation systems
  • Functional knowledge of these applications is preferred:
    • React
    • WordPress
    • Jira & Confluence
    • Monday.com
    • MS O365 Office (Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)

  • Consumer Product experience

Not Required But Preferred Experience

  • Consumer Product experience is a plus.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,550.00 – $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
