Role Description
As a Product Manager in the Core group, you will lead your cross functional team (engineering, studio designer, data science) to inflect Dropbox growth during a pivotal time as the company expands beyond its $2B core sync & share business into faster growing digital organization and collaboration products.
You will own introducing value to Dropbox Business customers, a high visibility and quintessential part of the company strategy. You will execute experiments with engineers, designers and analysts in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a mix of customer-centricity, data-informed decision making, rapid experimentation and relentless execution.

Requirements
2+ years of product management experience, shipping impactful features in B2B or consumer tech.Demonstrated experience in iterative product development: You can find the right way to validate a solution, ranging from A/B tests to white-glove pilots; You can adapt solutions and approach based on the learnings.Experience executing in a fast-paced environment.Deeply understand how your products work and how to measure short- and long-term success.Excels at communicating with team, partners, and stakeholders with clarity, salience, and urgency. Through our assessment process, we will identify your level that ties to compensation based on your experience and technical expertise along with the scope of the role.
For candidates hired in San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $148,800 – $175,000 – $201,300 if you are assessed at the IC2 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC3 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $180,200 – $212,000 – $243,800.
For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $133,900 – $157,500 – $181,100 if you are assessed at the IC2 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC3 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $162,200 – $190,800 – $219,400.
For candidates hired in all other US locations, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is currently $119,000 – $140,000 – $161,000 if you are assessed at the IC2 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC3 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $144,200 – $169,600 – $195,000.
Range(s) is subject to change. Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
