What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be responsible for the planning and operation of Verizon’s B2B connected laptop portfolio. You will be primarily tasked with managing multiple OEMs to ensure their roadmap of Verizon compatible devices achieve an on time and successful launch in coordination with cross functional teams. You will partner hand-in-hand with network, engineering, and sales teams to ensure Verizon’s network and sales goals are met.

• Working closely with the device OEMs, chipset vendors, and OS/platform vendors to architect and manage solutions aligned with Verizon Business Group strategic objectives.
• Managing partnerships with mobile compute device vendors to drive business device, product and sales needs.
• Driving 5G into the mobile compute ecosystem.
• Responsibility for device operations – providing feedback on product requirements, performing gap analysis, and communicating product needs to various OEMs across product lines.
• Performing analysis of launched products data and lead executive reporting development.
• Managing the funnel of new/existing products from Ideation to Post-launch optimization, including leading weekly read outs to the business device team and Verizon stakeholders.
• Developing executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks, and launch performance.
• Collaborating with VZ network teams and device manufacturers/chipset vendors for network FOA and early lab testing.

What we’re looking for…

You have a passion for wireless products and operations. You are not afraid of a challenge, and will work to find solutions to difficult problems. You have a proven track record of collaboration and embrace the opportunity to take ownership over your work.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in the Telecommunications product field.
• Two or more years of experience working with 5G Technology, Wireless Technologies, and PC/Chromebook devices.
• Experience in product management including portfolio and partner management.
• Experience translating sales feedback and strategy into an actionable product roadmap for the business.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• MBA or Master’s degree.
• Strong working knowledge on Mobile Connected Laptops and/or Chipsets.
• Experience managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate highly complex technical information.
• Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment.
• Experience outlining issues and challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
• Problem solving and organization skills.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
