Inspire Brands is undertaking a strategic initiative to improve performance by building analytics products for internal stakeholders and integrating these products into business processes and decision making.
The Product Manager, Analytics Initiatives is responsible for day-to-day execution of this strategic initiative, and is supported by a Product Owner, Analytics Initiatives who focuses on managing the product backlogs of Inspire’s Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with brand stakeholders (internal users of analytics products) to understand their needsServe as Product Manager for an analytics use case; lead Product Owner in working with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to define and prioritize development backlogWork with brand teams to embed analytics products into business decision-making, ensure product build and deployment are meeting brand requirementsInterface with multiple stakeholders to guide use case rollouts, diagnose / solve project problems and identify / manage dependencies with other projects at InspireDevelop materials required to support progress reviews and drive alignment across brand and Inspire executive leadership
Education And Experience Qualifications
4-Year Degree Preferred5+ years of experience (or equivalent) working on teams that build products for businesses to deliver analytical services or provide strategic management consulting servicesExperience working as a Product Manager/Product Owner as part of an agile development team, including writing User Stories/User Acceptance Criteria and participating in agile ceremonies such as Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS Or ABILITIES
Stakeholder management – assess, understand, and meet requirements of key stakeholders across the business; ability to understand business needs and connect role of analytics to creating business valueResults oriented – ability to execute strategies and operate without total clarity to deliver tangible business resultsPersonal integrity– humility, a sense of humor, and appreciation for power of teamworkPassion for the restaurant industry – desire to understand our operations and customers
