The purpose of the role is to manage the lifecycle of various products used in the military market. Additionally, you will capture customer requirements and needs to develop new products with the engineering development team. You will possess a unique blend of business and technical understanding; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You will also have frequent and direct contact with our customers, so this position will require occasional travel.
Manage assigned product lines from strategic planning to tactical activities. Capture customer requirements and needs. Analyze competitive offers and develop a product benchmark. Be the Product Owner in the Agile process, providing clear direction and setting priorities for development projects. Launch and roll-out product plan and schedule in close partnership with internal stakeholders. Champion the product – provide training and familiarization to the Sales team. Provide product marketing content and sales enablement tools that clearly convey our differentiated value proposition. Develop pricing for assigned products and options, ensuring alignment with Sales. Participate in commercial problem-solving and support sales channel teams to meet financial plans (orders, revenue, and margin expectations). Develop business case and financial forecasting of NPI projects. Lead Voice-of-Customer (VOC) collection and experimentation to drive market understanding (customer personas, segmentation, etc.) and create conviction around prioritization of solutions that meet our customers’ jobs-to-be-done
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other equivalent degree. Military experience is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to work in a team to rapidly bring new products to market. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, social skills that cultivate high-value relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
