Position Summary

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading key elements of the commercial plan and tactical programs for NUVO.  The Product Manager will be responsible for taking a lead role to ensure proper sales alignment and coordination of marketing activities.  The individual will be responsible for promoting NUVO with a primary emphasis on implementation and execution and will be required to demonstrate skills in leadership both externally with the sales team and internally with other members of the marketing team.

Major Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing the Inside sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product.
  • Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the sales team is kept up to date on new developments and product enhancements.
  • Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in clinical research and regulatory.
  • Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan
  • Responsible for preparing product forecasts and the monitoring of inventory levels at central and local warehouses to ensure supply timelines.
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap- develop marketing strategies for inside sales team.
  • Assist the Director of Product Management & Marketing in development of product launches, updates, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct and analyze market and competitive intelligence.
  • Assist with product sales analysis, forecasting, pricing, and returns.
  • Assist in PR activities for new product launches.
  • Liaise with Head Office product managers.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree and related marketing experience (MBA preferred)
  • Medical devices / Bioscience / Technology strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of functional marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong team contributor
  • Demonstrated solid analytical ability and business acumen
  • Ability to thrive and learn in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Proven record of demonstrating initiative
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • No special physical demands required.
  • Up to 20% travel: field work, talking to customers, etc.
