We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented and personable Product Manager that is excited about building creative solutions and improving workflows in the complex financial industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and understand CorpAxe clients, their workflows and the problems CorpAxe is trying to solve for them.
  • Analyze and assess product initiatives CorpAxe should and shouldn’t take on based on revenue opportunities, retention, client feedback, industry trends and our vision and strategy.
  • Host client research calls and implement data tracking to drive product decisions.
  • Execute the CorpAxe vision and strategy by writing up product plans and stories and work with the development team to implement them.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, with a focus on your vertical.
  • Help set priorities and determine the product roadmap.
  • Manage sprints and the development cycle including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • QA Testing
    • Release Notes
    • Documentation
    • Timelines and Milestones
    • Educate Client Management and Support on new features

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of work experience in Product Management roles working with engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – good at telling the story, the problems to solve and the plan on how to get there.
  • Detail oriented and relentless with breaking down product plans and requirements.
  • Knack for problem solving.
  • Ability to think big picture and understand the problems we’re trying to solve, while also being able to zoom in on the nuances of implementation.
  • Self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proponent of centralized systems, documentation and ways to scale yourself (and the product) as a part of a growing team and company.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent follow through.
  • Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of web-based technologies, curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Resourceful: you don’t always have all the answers, but you know how to find them.

Nice to Have:

  • Interest in finance and improving workflows between the buyside and the sellside.
  • Knowledge of buyside workflows, such as Corporate Access Meeting Management, Broker Vote, Resource Tracking/Consumption.
  • B2B Product Management experience.
  • Technical background/knowledge.
  • Design/UX experience and/or passion.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US – no exceptions.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $135k – $180k / year
  • Other Compensation: Additional compensation includes annual discretionary bonus
