Location: Remote in the United States

The Position: This role reports to the Global Head of Supply Chain Defense and is a high-impact, high-visibility managerial position on the BlueVoyant Product Management team. In this position, you’ll be expected to drive results by influencing product vision, executing against the strategy, and driving innovation around various aspects of BlueVoyant Supply Chain Defense (SCD) products and services.Your focus will be to guide collaboration and align with a cross functional team to drive innovation for SCD solutions and to execute, measure, and adjust the strategy accordingly. You’ll be challenged to solve hard problems, both for customers and for the business, by working with engineering and design to create value that can be measured both through quantification (revenue) and qualification (customer satisfaction).This role requires experience in product management, information security, and data analytics. You will use client input, market research, product management discipline, and experience to define plans and requirements in an agile and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and continually improve the Supply Chain Defense strategy focusing on defining market opportunities and customer needs that result in product requirements
• Identify new features and capabilities and take them through concept to launch
• Establish a deep understanding of our users, buyers, and their needs
• Develop detailed requirements that align against decision criteria outlined in the product strategy
• Provide guidance to the entire product team (PM, design, and engineering) and align stakeholders; ensure that solutions are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible
• Conduct competitive analysis so that, through you, the company remains informed about the competitive landscape and use this information to establish meaningful market differentiators
• Synthesize data gathered through experiments to confirm user needs and validate assumptions
• Support product launches/releases through documentation, training and communications to internal stakeholders, including product marketing, sales, partners, and industry analysts
• Manage relationships and maintain an environment of transparency, accountability, and success with internal and external stakeholders and partners

Requirements

• 8 or more years in Product Management or equivalent experience
• 3 years more years’ professional experience with information security in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery as it relates to cybersecurity and risk functions
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate product needs against the functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex problems reaching a wide variety of perspectives represented by different internal groups, including cross-functional leadership
• Exceptional analytical skills, fact-based, transparent and experience building business cases and cost/benefit scenarios
• High-level technical understanding of security services and how they may be delivered
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the proven ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable items and/or recommendations

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with vendor risk management, threat intelligence, and security services
• Relevant certification in security (CISSP or similar) and product management (CSPO or similar)
• Track record working in a geographically distributed environment
