Q2 is seeking an experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing the roadmap and strategic planning for an industry-changing fintech platform. You will be working at a company whose mission is to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial intuitions. This position will be responsible for managing products in Q2’s Extended Functionality spac and charting a strategy that meets business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. It requires a highly motivated and focused individual capable of communicating, establishing credibility, and driving high performing product solutions.

You have a point of view about what makes great digital banking products and can translate that into strategies that deliver solutions to market problems that you identify. You are an energetic and diplomatic leader who can evangelize key strategies and growth. Opportunities requiring broad thinking, including design, financial analysis, workflows, and data analytics are familiar to you and demonstrated success is your norm. You possess deep experience in Product Management related to enterprise software development best practices.

In addition, you take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results, driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products.


  • Responsible for defining and driving the product strategy in the Extended Functionality space
  • Assist in managing existing vendor relationships and aligning forward roadmaps and initiatives
  • Actively pursue and vet potential vendor partnerships, working closely with Business Development
  • Responsible for overall user engagement across products
  • Proactively identify opportunities for new trends/features/products
  • Perform research and provide industry expertise to be utilized in product business cases
  • Establish and track business cases and financials
  • Assess risk of value, feasibility, and usability as key factors to product success
  • Communicate value and vision effectively-being confident with presentation skills and establishing credibility with an audience
  • Engage with clients and prospects through Relationship and Sales teams as needed to present and discuss roadmap and strategy
  • Build effective relationships with others in Product, Sales, Marketing and Engineering
  • Champion end-user experience by actively seek to integrate human interaction best practices

Experience And Knowledge

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills with proven experience in generating business cases to drive product growth
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills
  • Excel and data analysis skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must
