We are looking for a Product Manager to help us deliver the best digital products possible to our customers.
Ludus is a SaaS company that builds digital tools trusted by thousands of organizations of all sizes to power their event ticketing, marketing, fundraising, and registration needs.
Ludus is looking to hire a Product Manager to bring us to the next level as a company by ensuring we have someone with the time and skills necessary to ensure our product grows responsibly with a core focus and understanding of our customers and business goals.

This person will help take the product-strategy load off our current CEO as we continue to grow, and ensure that we are consistently applying our product vision across our development, training, and growth activities.
The ideal Product Manager should have the ability to deeply understand a digital product, empathize deeply with a niche customer base, and create clear a clear and detailed scope for our design and development teams to continuously improve our product.

What You’ll Be Doing
Gaining a deep understanding of the complete Ludus product and the unique ways it can be used – will be essential for all other job functionsLearning about our customers and reaching to a point where you can speak their language to understand their needs/wants as organizations.Frequent collaboration with our CEO and COO to define long-term product goals and roadmap.Functioning as the main point of contact for product related questions and decisions requiring a full-breadth contextDefining and communicating the product vision to the development team and other stakeholders.Prioritize and plan new product features based on business goals, customer feedback, and available resources.Managing product request backlogs with frequent follow up, research, and ticket fleshing.Reviewing our various feedback channels and interact with our community.Communicating effectively with development teams to understand technical feasibility and create a crystal clear ‘definition of done for the ticket’Defining user stories or requirements for the development team. Ensure that user stories are clear, concise, and actionable, and they answer any questions from the development team about the requirements.Defining acceptance criteria for user stories and participates in acceptance testing to ensure that the delivered product meets the defined criteria.Collaborating with the development team to plan and prioritize major releases. Decide which features will be included in an initial release based on business priorities, customer feedback, and technical constraints.Conducting frequent QA testing on new features before they go live with a keen attention to detail and deep understanding of our customers and business goalsNavigating a SQL database to conduct thorough testing of the entire applicationReviewing financial reports for our e-commerce products and being able to catch numerical inconsistenciesManaging a small pool of internal and customer beta testers to get early feedback on new product changesConducting regular customer interviews to gather feedback, suggest improvements, and identify pain points.Collaborating with our UX/UI designer to conduct usability tests and synthesize results into future product changesAssisting in the creation of interactive and valuable resources for our customers to succeed within our product via our Ludus support manual, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Establishing and follow standards for support articles and facilitate collaboration among team members for content creation.Developing onboarding and training materials to instill a product mindset within Ludus employees.Conducting product training sessions for new hires and ongoing education programs for existing employees.
Traits we’re looking for
(In no certain order)
Multiple years of proven experience in product management, customer success, or related roles within the tech industry.Strong understanding of UX/UI concepts and design principles.Proficiency in Figma, Jira, Asana, and other relevant software tools.Strong overall technical skills (specifically on a Mac), and an ability to quickly learn new tech skillsUnderstanding of a common software development lifecycle
BONUS Qualifications
Experience in graphic or UX/UI design.Familiarity with the box office management/performing arts industry

Tools and services we use
Perks
? Health Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental) — provided by UnitedHealthcare and Guardian. Ludus covers 75% of the premium. Employee pays the difference in premium if a more expensive plan is selected. Dependents: Employee pays for the whole premium.
? 401(k) matching — Full match on the first 5% contribution and 50% match on the next 5% of contribution (7.5% contribution match by Ludus if you contribute 10%). 30-day probationary period from date of employment before enrollment.
???? Employee Liquidity Pool — Ludus has a long-term focus, but in the event of an acquisition or IPO, a percentage will be allocated to employees.
? Personal Wellness — $50 monthly reimbursement that can be used on anything personal wellness related. Our current employees use it for gym memberships, buying books, etc.
? Experience Credit — $100 yearly reimbursement toward concert tickets, theatre tickets, etc. to encourage shared experiences.
? Flexible Vacation Time — For salaried team members, Ludus does not limit the number of days you take off for vacation and personal days. With Flexible Vacation Time, our policy is to work with your team and not let anyone down as you schedule time off.
? Sick Days — We do not track sick days. If you’re under the weather, we expect you to take the time needed to recover within reason.
Role Details
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 Hours: Monday-Friday; 9am-5pmLocation: West Michigan (we are based in Holland, MI)
