First Databank (FDB) is looking for an experienced Product Manager with knowledge of the healthcare to develop and grow an exciting consumer-oriented product line that expands our highly successful medication content and software products into the medication adherence and patient engagement category. As Product Manager, you will be joining a company that is privileged to work with a large and continually growing customer base and is driven by our mission to improve the use of medications and health outcomes more broadly. We are looking for someone with 2 – 5 years of software product management experience in the health care space to champion the development and commercialization of software and content products related to patient/consumer use of medications and aimed at healthcare developers and users. The right candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, a deep understanding of the workings of healthcare and the drive to make the vision a reality. This individual will quarterback an interdisciplinary team including clinical and engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. She or he will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and the target customer. This role will serve as the internal and external evangelist for the FDB consumer-facing content solutions, working with the sales channel and key customers. This position will assume accountability for product profitability.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in San Francisco, CA. The reasonable estimate, if hired in San Francisco, is $136,000 – $185,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
