Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
Product portfolio and life-cycle management of the Epoxy, Vinyl Ester & Polyurea resin technologies.
Assessment and optimization of each product portfolioManagement of product life cycle with concern and responsibility for resulting obsolescencePrice lists and labels
Develop new products and drive innovation specific to portfolio.
New Product/Packaging launchesNew sales tools supporting product categories. New product commercialization through established stage gate process
Profitability analysis and improvement
Price increasesCost reductions w/minor modificationsProduct literature
Competitive intelligence repository
Voice of customer
Product Sales and Profit budget achievement
New Product forecast and rationalization of identified products
Deliver annual goal for new product revenue.
Qualifications
FORMAL EDUCATION: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED)
Required:
Four-year degree related to Marketing, Chemistry or Project Management
Preferred:
Master’s degreeFour– year degree related to Marketing, Chemistry or Project Management
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Demonstrated success in creating and launching marketing and promotional programs. Excellent project and time management skillsProficient in using data for decision making and report generation. Presenting in front of groups of all audience levelsWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Preferred:
Epoxy, Vinyl Ester, Polyurea use in Protective and Marine installations. Lining and secondary containment installations and product recommendationsChemical formulation or general chemistry knowledge
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to _50__ pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
