Overview
The Product Lead will work within the office of the Chief Technology Officer and with the Forge, LMI’s technology accelerator and innovation hub, in a team of designers, engineers, and developers responsible for creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications and products for LMI and its federal government clients. The P r oduct Lead will lead product team s to develop new features, scope and prioritize customer requirements, develop successful prototypes and products that delight customers , conduct forward-facing research and engage with client stakeholders .
Responsibilities
The Product Lead will:
Shape and develop multiple prototypes to assess product design and technical feasibility; use the outcomes of prototypes to drive further development of products or offerings Develop product strategy vision and roadmaps, and prioritize feature development based on customer demands Perform research on new technologies, approaches and avenues for business growth Generate buy-in for product vision with both senior leadership and customer stakeholders Translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories that lead to product specifications and architecture for applications Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues, and work with product operations administrators to meet programmatic, financial, and technical goals Plan for the full product lifecycle, including innovation, prototyping, development, and sustainment Work with business development, markets, and service lines to develop go-to-market strategies Tie in closely with the Market CTOs to drive customer engagement, solutioning and client excitement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, design, or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams Minimum 3 years of product management or related product lifecycle experience Minimum 3 years of experience delivering solutions that meet federal security requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Technically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadership Experience with data privacy, data protection, and data compliance Working knowledge of cloud environments Entrepreneurial spirit, independent and self-motivated, and results-oriented Comfortable managing ambiguity and providing structure for engineering teams Preferred experience with security requirements in a federal IT environment, including FedRAMP-certified providers and FISMA requirements for acquiring an ATO
