Overview
Mastercard’s Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) Solutions is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments, both now and in future. We ensure that transactions and interactions are safe, simple and smart. The Cyber Security & Risk Product organization within C&I is responsible for developing and managing cyber security solutions that help build trust in the Mastercard ecosystem while increasing Mastercard’s posture as a leader in the cybersecurity industry.
RiskRecon Protect is a cloud-based threat protection solution focused on protecting small and medium size organizations from cyber security threats by providing DDOS mitigation, web application security protection, intrusion prevention, and malicious bot protection. RiskRecon Protect is enhanced by its Threat Insights platform which generates real-time rules based on intelligence from thousands of honeypots of different personas deployed across the globe. RiskRecon Protect is formerly Baffin Bay Networks, a Sweden-based cybersecurity company, that was acquired by Mastercard in 2023.
The Technical Product Manager for RiskRecon Protect is responsible for executing against the product roadmap, translating well-formed business requirements into engineering-ready specifications and engaging with the engineering team to enable successful execution. The Technical Product Manager will work closely with a Director of Product Management for RiskRecon Protect in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Product Manager, UX Designer, Architect and Tech Lead to define details behind business requirements and translate those into functional and technical engineering requirements.
• Act as the liaison between the product and engineering teams.
• Identify issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicates to leadership.
• Continuously monitor feature development at the feature level.
• Prepare launches and monitor platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets.
• Support and participate in post-launch reviews and ensure feedback is reincorporated into the feature.
• Work with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues.

• Experience in software development.
• Proven capability to translate well-formed product business and functional requirements into engineering-ready specifications.
• Has a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.
• Able to engage constructively with software engineers in supporting their implementation of product enhancements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible in work schedule to work with global stakeholders across different time zones.
• Understand and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases.
• Improve team processes that accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
