Summary

This role will be responsible for transforming the product experience, by finding value creating opportunities and driving innovative and sustainable product solutions through technology. Selected candidates will champion a startup mindset and promote agile ways of working to create and deliver differentiated experiences for our customers. Ideal candidates are product-oriented team players comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and must be a strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders of all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Understand industry landscape, market trends and customer needs.
  • Employs empathy, design and systems thinking to define Epics and break them down into features and stories for agile team.
  • Prioritizes backlog and product solutions to ensure iterative value creation for customers and the business.
  • Partners with cross functional team to define, develop and deliver differentiated customer experiences.
  • Reports on product performance to stakeholders demonstrating incremental value creation.
  • Encourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needs.
  • Defines scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers habits.
  • Understands technology concepts and how underlying product services perform across channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Fosters a strong agile discipline and inspires teams to continuously improve delivery through understanding of key agile metrics.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
  • 2+ years of experience translating Epics and Features into Consumer or Associate facing products.
  • 1+ years managing all aspects of a feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to influence across the organization.
  • Insurance industry experience preferable, not required.
  • Agile certifications preferred (i.e. SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP).
