Each season several thousand guests from the US, Canada, UK and Australia travel to Europe with us doing both private tailor-made trips and small ship cruises on our private vessels.

The Role – European Product Manager

We are looking to recruit an experienced European Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships in 3-4 European destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all existing product within your countries, ensuring a consistently high level of experience for all clients.
  • Launching new regions and individual product, when required, in line with demand from the sales team and ensuring that company values and standards are always met.
  • Supporting a team of sales specialists with product requests, training, and in-depth knowledge of your destinations.
  • Liaising with and supporting the operations team in order to gather travel season feedback and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Staying on top of current events and new product launches in country and feeding this back to the Head of Product and Head of PR.
  • Researching and developing innovative new unforgettable experiences.
  • Contracting and negotiating all product rates in line with commercial targets.
  • Managing the relationship with all in-country suppliers with a focus on the operational success of all tours and itineraries.
  • Regularly monitoring website itinerary conversion rates and updating, when necessary.
  • Writing product text for documentation or marketing purposes, in line with company style.
  • Producing and running training sessions.
  • Planning familiarization trips and collating product feedback.
  • Reporting on product performance against department KPIs.


Skills Required:

  • Previous Product Manager experience in luxury tailormade travel industry, specializing in Europe.
  • In depth country knowledge of one or all of the following countries is a bonus: France, Italy & Greece
  • Other European countries also considered.
  • Strong Negotiation, and inter-personal skills.
  • Strong Commercial acumen.
  • Energy and drive to always be building upon existing product and looking for ways to improve.
  • Strong inter-departmental communication skills.

The Role:

  • This is a full time, permanent role based from home
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
