Our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve our consumer experience. We’re responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. This includes working on new technologies, platforms, consumer-facing products, and/or enterprise systems to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests and experience, and where you will have the most impact.
Key Responsibilities:
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly. Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting-edge technologies. Develop Digital solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions. Previous work experience in payroll is preferred, global payroll industry experience is a plus. Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. Thorough knowledge and proficiency in working with best-in-class HR and/or payroll solutions Prior experience in Jira Align, Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), Excel, and Powerpoint. Demonstrated learning agility. Ability to interact in technical discussions with IT stakeholders.
Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 3 years of product management experience such as creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams. Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions. Experience developing Internet products and technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in a technology or business-related field. Payroll & payroll adjacent process knowledge is preferred but not required Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction. Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing. Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $100,000.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $153,240.00/year (for full time employees).
