Job Description

We are currently seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Product Management Team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in product management or an interest to learn product management.

Primary product responsibilities will be in our Open Storage Product Category. The ideal candidate will be both a structured thinker and have vision for where to take their products They will have incredible passion but will also have firm follow-through. They will be both a people person and deeply interesting products. Good communication skills are critical to work with the entire cross section of the corporation (engineering, marketing, sales, finance, operation, and support functions) and with channel partners and customers of all types. They will have the EQ to pushy but with a smile, to know when to hold fast, and when to let one slide.

Responsibilities:

The Associate Product Manager manages one or more assigned Products in support of Product Development, Product Innovation, Sales, Profit, Quality, Availability, and Service Goals. It is a highly visible developmental role for an individual interested in a career in Product Management.
Executes strategies in alignment with product category to achieve product vision. Develops plans to execute product strategies to meet corporate objectives and serve customers. Contributes to product roadmap, assisting with aligning internal and external direction. Helps drive product innovation within the product offering. Develops new product development through the Corporate Stage Gate Process. Develops and manages a deep understanding of assigned products. Sets pricing for assigned products. Executes product lifestyle planning activity for products assigned (NPD through EOL). Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 0-4 years of experience in a marketing, product management, engineering, or other relevant roleBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or other relevant major Excellent communications, organizational, project management, and mathematical skillsAdditional preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:New Product Development Customer field research (ex: ethnographic research)Product marketingIndustry-specific work experience (i.e., Commercial Laboratory, Foodservice, Healthcare)
