About The Role

This position is responsible for supporting the implementation, testing, and maintenance of product and non-product related initiatives on our illustration systems and tools. These illustration systems and tools are used to educate our customers, sales teams, distribution partners and advisors on our variable, index, and fixed annuity products.The successful candidate must be well organized with strong attention to detail, exhibit effective communication and collaboration skills, and possess solid technical skills, especially with MS Excel. Experience with testing and automation of processes is a plus.

  • Responsible for supporting Illustration initiatives beginning with the preliminary design phase through the final implementation phase; includes gathering project requirements, supporting issue resolution, developing contingency plans, identifying and executing deliverables
  • Responsible for providing timely responses to questions and requests relating to our variable, index, and fixed annuity product illustrations, especially with our sales organization
  • Manage the notification and review of updates to third party sales tools
  • Review project plans, marketing materials, contract forms, and other supporting documents for each initiative
  • Create, store, and maintain electronic records for each initiative using department network shared folders, Jira Kanban boards, and other repositories
  • Manage the daily/weekly distribution of metrics reports across strategic partners and senior management

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of product management, product development, broker-dealer/agency back-office support, marketing, sales, operations, or service experience in the financial services industry
  • BA/BS in business administration, marketing, finance or similar field preferred
  • Annuity industry knowledge and experience preferred
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially with Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; quickly assess strengths/weaknesses, address risks, and contribute to issue resolution
  • Ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts; visualize and/or contribute to the development of an idea or initiative (from concept and design to implementation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines; proven track record in completing assigned tasks on schedule and quickly adapting to change
  • Exceptional organization and follow-up skills
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with peers within and across the organization
  • Results rather than task orientation

For positions based in California, the base salary range is $64,480-$69,426. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
