Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Product Manager to join our team and oversee the management of MakarttPro’s line of professional products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buying, product management, merchandising, procurement, or supply chain, with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of our product line, maintaining optimal stock levels, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Acquisition & Retention team to develop and execute strategic plans for the MakarttPro product line, including monomer, acrylic powders, soft gel, gel polishes, and other related items.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, and translate findings into actionable insights to guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of new product offerings, including sourcing, pricing, and negotiation with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch, including product planning, forecasting, inventory management, and allocation to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, operations, and quality assurance to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives and promotions.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to track product performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and proactively address any issues related to product quality, availability, or pricing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to anticipate market changes and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in buying, product management, merchandising, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem solver with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
